Although these following measurement terms are commonly used, we advise that you evaluate each product’s measurements yourself. For the best fit, use a fabric measuring tape and wear as little clothing as possible.
The widest part of your head needs to be measured, about an inch above your eyebrows.
Measure around the middle of neck (below the Adam’s apple). Allow room for one of your fingers to fit between the neck and tape which will guarantee a comfortable fit.
Wrap the measuring tape around the broadest part of the chest, over shoulder blades, and then put arms down at sides.
Bend an elbow and position that hand on your hip. Take the measuring tape and extend it from the center back of neck over the shoulder and arm toward the wrist.
Bend to one side to expose the natural crease in the waistline, which should be right below your navel. Be sure to keep the tape snug, but not too tight while measuring this natural waistline.
Position your straight with your legs 6 inches apart parallel. Measure the inside of your leg from just below the crotch to about 1 inch below the ankle.
