Hartford's Spring/Summer 2013 Collection is inspired by three themes: “urban preppy”, the world of “urban military” and “vintage surf” (think late sixties 'Beach Boys’ ambiance).

HARTFORD

Designer Yves Chareton began with a vision to recreate the 40’s and 50’s vintage shirts like the ones he found in flea markets in Porte de Clignancourt in Paris in the late 60’s-ubiquitous buttondowns in faded plaids or bright oxford, westerns in raw denim and work shirts in chambray.  In 2000, persuaded by customers and press, Yves created his own universe by launching full collections, which all shared the same philosophy upon which Hartford was built - reinventing traditional fashion into something modern and stylish. Today, the Hartford label is synonymous with quality fabrics, rich colors, and above all, with authenticity.
